ADSTRA Introduces Management M5 Software
CHADDS FORD PA: December 3, 2008- ADSTRA Systems has introduced ADSTRA Management™ M5 Dental Software. The program’s new features include a redesigned graphical user interface, appointment book enhancements, user-definable tooth and surface validation rules for dental procedures, and a variety of new reports. ADSTRA Management M5 also contains inherent support for Microsoft SQL database, which provides increased robustness and security.
ADSTRA Management M5’s redesigned graphical user interface features a movable toolbar, resizable windows for log screens and charts, time-saving hot keys, an on-screen keyboard that allows typing using only the mouse, a calendar button that eliminates the need to type each date, and a direct link to the Remote Assistance web page.
Appointment Book enhancements include a right-click menu option that allows the user to go to Imaging, a Reassign Appointments option for transferring all appointments for a specific time frame from one provider to another, a Recalls button that displays the patient’s family recall dates, and an option to automatically add a patient to the Short Call when he or she cancels an appointment. Right-clicking in the time slot for the cancelled appointment in the Appointment Book and selecting Short Call Matches automatically displays the list of patients from the Short Call list whose preferences match that date and time.
ADSTRA Management M5 also includes a number of new reports: Patients’ Birthdates and Ages, which can list patients whose ages are within a particular range; Appointments Made, which provides the number of appointments booked by day for a certain period; Total Appointments by Patient, which lists patients seen during a certain period; Guarantor and Patient Report, which provides address information for a selected alphabetical range, and Number of Charges by Age and Gender, which can be run for a particular period.
