GIVING KIDS SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT
PDI Donates Supplies to Provide Dental Care to Underprivileged Children

Continuing in its mission to prevent infections in healthcare environments, Professional Disposables International, Inc. (PDI) will support Give Kids a Smile, a one-day program that provides underprivileged children with free dental care. By partnering with Henry Schien, a leading distributor of healthcare products, PDI will help supply dental product kits to the more than 2,000 participating sites. Each kit will contain enough items to serve 50 children. This year, Give Kids a Smile Day is scheduled for February 6, 2009.

Since it’s inception in February 2003, more than 7 million children have been treated by Give Kids a Smile. The American Dental Association created the program as a way to spread awareness of widespread oral disease affecting children from low-income families and to build support for solutions that will help these children get regular oral healthcare.
