J. Shane Perry, RDH, MEd, is a full-time associate professor at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. With 35 years of experience in the dental field, he has spent the last 20 years primarily teaching dental hygiene students in the areas of anatomy, pathology, and local anesthesia. Shane is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, the American Dental Education Association, and a member of the National HPV Roundtable.
