Diane M. Daubert, RDH, MS, is a faculty member in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Washington

(UW) School of Dentistry in Seattle. She is director of the introduction to clinical dentistry course and co-director of secondyear

periodontics/prevention courses. Daubert also teaches advanced instrumentation to post-doctoral periodontal residents.

A lecturer, researcher, and practitioner, she is involved in numerous clinical trials, including research on the efficacy of

subgingival glycine powder air polishing. She has lectured nationally and internationally on dental implant maintenance,

peri-implantitis, and changes within the field of dentistry. Currently, Daubert is pursuing a doctoral
