Angie Marshall-Reech, MEd, BSDH, RDH, CH-ONC, is an assistant professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Her teaching responsibilities include ethics and law, pain management laboratory, clinical dental hygiene I, II, III, IV and research principles and methods. Marshall-Reech has more than 10 years of clinical experience in general practice. Her research interests focus on dental hygiene care for oncology patients and the oral effects of cancer therapies. A certificate holder in oncology through the National Network of Healthcare Hygienists, Marshall-Reech is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and has presented at local and regional meetings.
