Andrea Ferreira Zandona, DDS, MSD, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. She is the graduate program director for preventive dentistry and director of the Early Caries Research Program. A frequent lecturer both stateside and abroad, Zandona has also conducted clinical research on early caries diagnosis. She is a core member of the International Caries Detection and Assessment System Committee, a peer reviewer for numerous journals, and a member of the National Institutes of Health study section.
