Better Business Bureau Warns Consumers of Dental Scams

With rising inflation, it’s no wonder Americans are looking for a good deal on everything, including dental care. Unfortunately, nefarious scammers are ready to take advantage of bargain hunters. The Better Business Bureau is warning consumers of the proliferation of scammers creating well-produced social media ads for products, such as veneers and orthodontic appliances, at costs much lower than those available in a dental office. Once the consumer pays, there is a significant delay in receiving the product and the quality is subpar. When customers attempt to return said products, they find the company does not exist any longer. This alert provides an opportunity for oral health professionals to warn their patients about such scams and explain the importance of using high-quality dental products. Click here to read more.
