Emily R. Holt, MHA, RDH, CDA, EFDA, is a clinical professor of dental hygiene at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville where she has taught for 16 years covering special needs, oral and general pathology, periodontology, pain management, head and neck anatomy, senior clinic, and periodontal clinic. In 2020, she became a certified Positive Approach to Care independent trainer and educates dental professionals on dementia and behavioral approaches. Holt practices dental hygiene weekly in Evansville, Indiana. She is also a consultant member of the CDCA-WREB-CITA examination team. Holt can be reached at: erholt@usi.edu.
