University of Minnesota Welcomes a New Dental Therapy Class

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry welcomes the dental therapy class of 2025 in addition to the dentist class of 2026 and dental hygiene class of 2024. The combined Bachelor of Science/Master of Dental Therapy class includes seven women and one man with an average age of 25.75. Seven of the students are Minnesota residents and comprise a variety of previous careers from dental assistant to champion equestrian to competitive dancer. The Dental Therapy Program is a 3-year, year-round course of study. Graduates serve low-income, uninsured, or underserved patients in health professional shortage areas.  Click here to read more.
