Polident® Introduces Fresh Cleanse™ Antibacterial Foaming Denture Cleanser

PARSIPPANY, NJ – (August 2006) – GlaxoSmithKline, makers of Polident^®, announces the first innovation in denture cleansers in more than 40 years – Polident Fresh Cleanse™. With a pump delivery system and unique foaming formulation, Fresh Cleanse offers denture-wearers a simple, new way to keep dentures clean and odor-free.

Polident Fresh Cleanse is an active foam that easily penetrates into denture crevices to microclean away tough stains and plaque. With its freshening mint formula, Fresh Cleanse kills 99.9 percent of odor-causing bacteria, leaving breath feeling fresh for up to five hours.

Unlike many toothpastes, Polident Fresh Cleanse does not contain abrasives that can scratch denture surfaces. Daily use of Fresh Cleanse helps maintain the gloss and shine on dentures and partials.
