Chicago, IL (January 18, 2008) – Hu-Friedy, the world’s leading manufacturer of hand-held dental instruments, announces the celebration of its 100th year in business serving dentists and dental hygienists.  The year-long centennial celebration will kick off at the Mid-Winter Dental Convention on February 22nd, followed by a party at the Enclave night club that evening.

A Chicago-based company, Hu-Friedy was founded in 1908, and today is owned by the Saslow Family.   Throughout the years, dentists and dental hygienists have relied on the company to deliver the precision and craftsmanship in instrumentation that is critical to efficient dental practice management.
